3/31 - Froggie finds Florida fantastic

Frogs at work:  Interestingly, Tadpole has the more old-school business look of the 2.
Froggie finds Florida fantastic.  Especially when it's a box of candy!  (Yes, I'm bringing some home for the kids.  Say thank you to Ashley.)

3/30 - Panda, Elephant and Anya walk into a meeting...

Panda and Elephant found Anya on the BART parking lot fence, and we brought her in to work with us. She says, "Spasiba!"  (That's how you say "thank you" in Russian.)
Lunch meeting + meeting = no sunshine.  At least we have a delicious cactus salad.  Ah, cactus salad*...  how I've missed you.

* Yes, cactus as in cactus.  I am a cactus-eater.  Y que?

3/29 - Panda's Ke$ha impression

She heard "tick tock" and ran to my Disney clock.  (Let's hope she's not so literal with the other lyrics, eh?)  Hey!  Do you see the Number of the Day?  I don't know what it is, but I bet it's there!
Panda found the number of the day!  Which one is it?  (No!  That's Linda!  She's not a number...)  Scroll way down for the answer...

4!
On the way to my hair appointment, we found a Pizza Monster!  Eeek!  Yum!

3/28 - Lion says "This commute bites."

At least we got a seat on the way in, after dialing into our 8am meeting from home.  Lion says, "8am meetings -- grrrrrrr."
Later, Lion played fetch.  I guess he was hungrier than I thought!  The pirate said, "Yarrrrrr-ouch!"

3/26 - Beaker's night out

We scored tickets to the SF LGBT Center's Soiree 9 "La Dolce Vita."  Lil' Guy saw Mama's outfit and exclaimed, "I know who you look like!" and ran off to get Beaker.  He begged us to take Beaker to the grown-up party, so we did.
Here's Beaker with Raja from RuPaul's Drag Race, season 3.
Here are Mama and Mommy with a giant sparkly bunny, who rested his drink on Mama's head.
And here is Beaker, worn out from all the excitement, swooning in a pile of flower petals.

3/25 - Gingerbread the Tiny Dog finds mushrooms

I guess it HAS been raining a lot -- these were next to the BART parking lot.
Gingerbread thought my gooey cheese sandwich looked like an island.  (I thought it looked yummy.)

3/24 - The check-up checks out

I took off from work today to join Mama and the twins for their 5-year check-up appointment.  Note the happy smiling faces...  Such sunshine.  Then, the shots came (5 each, not pictured).  :(
Hope your day is pain-free, or at least comes with a lollipop afterwards.

3/23 - Tow Truck takes a note

She's "towing" the line?  :)
Later, Tow Truck gave me five.  She is quite literal!

3/22 - Introducing.... Gleep!

Gleep sees numbers all around us.  These were on the back of a truck.  Do you recognize any of them?  Can you count in alien?  Gleep can! Urk, Sneep, Tribble, Honk, Glurp...
Gleep will now demonstrate his interpretation of a traditional Thai dance.

3/21 - Jimmie gets a-counting

Jimmie found a little toy with lots of numbers.  Do you see the Number of the Day?
Jimmie took "please take a number" literally.  (OK, so I made him wear the tag from the napkin at the fancy restaurant...  I am not necessarily fancy.)

3/18 - Raindrops keep falling on my trunk...

Elephant has a new friend.  This is Larry -- he sits across the aisle from me.  He and his wife have twins, too.  (They are big kids -- the twins, not Larry and his wife!)
The real lyrics, courtesy of BJ Thomas (who knew?):

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleepin' on the job
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me

[trumpet]  <-- courtesy of Elephant!
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me

3/17 - Pineapple and Robot find an unexpected friendship

Those two sure stick together!  (Maybe it's Pineapple's magnet?)
Pineapple says "O!"  What other letters do you know in this sign?
Pineapple tried to blend in with the Fruit Salad Gang.

3/16 - Fun with a Cheetah

Mama had a doctor's appointment, and we had to get out of the housecleaners' way.  So we went to "the fun place," where the twins ran amok, balanced on a cheetah, and I drank a very hot wretched coffee.  Then I logged in to work and nobody ever saw me again.

3/15 - Uniqua dines al pesto

She's also dining in the nude...  Apologies!
Here's "Trunk" the elephant (formerly Elephant II), snuffling my phone cam.  (Yes, he's missing tusks.  See: graveyard of broken toys.)

3/14 - Tinkertoy construction project

Today, instead of bringing a toy to work, I brought work to the toys...  Mama is sick and I am reporting live, from the middle of mayhem.  The twins alternated between being barking dogs, or running around with vehicles and building shelters for them (pictured).
Home call answering now outsourced to the north pole:  "Jingle Bears here.  How may we help you?  This call may be monitored for ho ho ho."
Later, the Jingle Bears were playing walkie talkie with the phone and headset.
Finally, we started Lil Gal's customer service training.  It's never early to learn how to put others' needs first.

3/13 - Bitsy's head returns

When toys break around our house, they are sometimes thrown out.  More often, we keep all the bits and play with them still.  It's a little macabre, all these severed limbs and heads and whatnot, but it's what we do.

Here, we see the head of Bitsy, featured in a Play Doh project where she's given a new body... and a wheelchair.  Heavens to Bitsy!

3/11 - Bronto eats broccoli pronto

For breakfast, Bronto gobbled up some dismal trees.  Chomp!  Chomp!
He likes salad dressing on his broccoli trees.  Chomp!
I am blessed that the worst parts of my day were a non-tsunami and 6 hours of meetings.  My heartfelt thoughts go out to those in Japan...

3/10 - City Building wants to eat Orange Spider for breakfast

Don't worry -- I grabbed him out of the way.
We found rain and flowers when we went out looking for lunch. Orange Spider + orange flowers = pretty.

3/09 - Darby and the broccoli as big as her head

Um, Darby? There's something on your head...  A spider hat!  How lovely and fashion forward!
I think broccoli look like little trees, but Darby thinks they are full-size.

3/08 - Teeny Frog swims in the great Bippy sea

"Lily pad!"  I tried to tell Teeny Frog he's on a laptop's touch pad, but all he said was "Ribit" in a teeny froggie voice.
Mama took the twins to the playground while I'm submerged in 2 late-afternoon meetings.  Lil' Guy was so excited to give me his precious Bippy (blanket) to keep me company.  Awwwww.

3/07 - Lady Alien wants to take a ride

Lady Alien can't wait for Easter -- chocolate, bunnies, and decorating eggs.  Glorp beep snozz!
Campbell and Lady Alien liked the pink Vespa.

3/04 - Susan haz a hideout

Susan has built a fort out of my coffee holder.

David smiles slyly at Susan.  It looks like she and Tweet want to jump into his noodles! Stop, Susan, stop!

3/03 - Squawkie wants a coffee

Don't be silly!  Parrots don't drink coffee.  They prefer rum.  Or maybe that's just me.
Now Bob the Builder has parrot twins.  Poor Bob hears "Squawk!" in each ear.

3/02 - Blue Dino and the big pirate duck

Look!  This pirate duck is just like the tiny one we have at home!  What ducking luck we have.
